No Perishables, Please

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that all our mail is stuck in Port Angeles for two weeks while the Coho ferry is in dry dock for its annual maintenance. Please don't send anything perishable during this time as it will be all furry by the time we get it:)

It kind of sucks not having snail mail for two weeks but it means two things: Beth will have a weekend off from postcards and two, we'll have a nice pile awaiting us when the Coho is back on the water.

There is something wrong with my mind as my 1st thought was if things went furry then Beth could have a new pet & she wouldn't have to walk it. As I said my mind is odd.

I am sorry you'll be post less for 2 weeks, that does just plain suck. Hopefully you'll get some nifty goodies when you do finally get your mail.

What date will the next pickup be? I would like to make sure there is a package waiting, but I don't want it to get fuzzy. :P

Well, this is a traditional time to hang together and have hot chocolate... either with loving with ghost stories!

Hope not too much inconvenience or difficulty for you both out of this.

Well, I don't think I've got anything on the way.

This also means that Cheryl won't be able to visit, either?

Try to convince Beth to take things slow during this next two weeks?

I'm sure the two of you will find something to do while the mail is waiting. Hopefully it will be something involving two conscious participants. :)

Wendryn - The next mail pickup will be February 9th.

Actually I am in Victoria. The thought that something might happen where I was needed and I would be unable to get to Victoria was unacceptable. So, I took leave and am spending the time in Victoria helping Linda with the small mountain of paperwork for Seattle as well as some other tasks.

Cheryl, you are truly a wonderful person.

Oh, and I guess I shouldn't have sent those sardine sandwiches.
